Disseminate accurate and consistent information through all available avenues as directed by Council and staff. Responsible for issuance of press releases, website content, and internal graphic design/multi-media to ensure consistent and quality professional branding and visual communication. Utilize social media platforms to encourage resident involvement in government and community activities. Serve as a point of contact for information and promote a strong, positive image of the Town that is vital to the community's well-being.

  • Goals:
    • Provide the residents, businesses, and visitors access to current and accurate information.
    • Coordinate with department heads to ensure an average of $500,000 per year in grants or outside funding sources for city programs over the next five years.
    • Increase traffic to the city’s website by 10% annually over the next four years.
    • Increase the city’s social media following by 15% annually over the next four years.
