Business Tax Receipt Filing
As of December 1, 2025, the Town of Loxahatchee Groves will move to a new online platform, MyGovernmentOnline (MGO), to manage Business Tax Receipts (BTRs). We will no longer accept paper copies for filing of BTRs and the Town will no longer accept filing of BTRs by email or mailing by first class mail.
If you have an existing BTR then your account has been transferred over to MGO, however, you will have to create an account when you renew your BTR or want to make any changes to your existing BTR.
If you do not have an existing BTR then you will need to create one in MGO.
Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Your BTR in MGO
- Visit https://www.mgoconnect.org/cp/portal
- Click “Apply for your Business Tax Receipt” on the left-hand column. (Note, if it doesn’t appear, select Current Jurisdiction in the upper right corner, and select State Florida, and Jurisdiction Loxahatchee Groves)
- Create your “New Account” by clicking the button and following the instructions OR if you already have an MGO account, log in using it.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Our BTR Division will review your application and reach out if any additional steps are needed.
